Question

A person can travel 88 kms in an hour, if he is travelling on a smooth road. The same 88 kms take 3 hours when he is travelling on village roads of India. So is there any limit on the time of travel to become Musafir

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

There is no time limit in becoming a Musaafir. There is no difference between a person who travels on a built up highway or a person who travels in a gravel road in any township. The limit is 88 km.
